Opening a Remote THREDDS Catalog

1. Open the THREDDS Explorer or provide a catalog URL in the New Dataset Connection wizard.
2. The remote catalog XML is parsed into the EMF THREDDS hierarchy.
3. Expand folders and sub-catalogs to locate datasets of interest.

Inspecting and Plotting Remote OpenDAP Datasets

1. Select any dataset node in the THREDDS browser.
2. Right-click and select Open with NetCDF Editor.
3. Double-click a variable to render a 2D slice directly over the network via OpenDAP.
