Luther

Luther is an 11-12 month old, black and tan male who was a stray from a Sacramento shelter, so nothing is known of his background. He is very handsome and appears a little chunky, so could stand to lose a few pounds.

Luther is housebroken with the use of a dog door, and is learning house manners. He does know the commands sit and down and walks well on a leash. As a young dog, he wants to play and pushes the boundaries with the adult 100 lb German Shepherd in the foster home. He is also living with an older male pug. Due to Luther's age and size, he should not go into a home with young children.

His new home must commit to training and exercise. Ideally, another young dog that likes to play would also help Luther settle into a new home.
