Measuring springs can be hard; most people, even garage door professionals, sometimes have trouble determining torsion springs. Ordering inaccurate springs wastes time and money. From my own field experience I would approximate that a minimum of 10% of the doors have the inaccurate springs on them. We like to enhance the garage door balance.
