Amend SB 1188 (house committee report) on page 2, between lines 15 and 16, by inserting the following:
\r\n Sec. 183.0015. PROHIBITED RELEASE OF ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD. Notwithstanding any other law or provision of this chapter, a covered entity may not release a patient\'s electronic health record without the patient\'s express consent.
