Examination: Complete Abdominal Ultrasound , 2/15/2018 11:30 AM
Clinical information: Cirrhosis, patient status post hepatitis C treatment
Comparison: 08/09/2017
Findings: The visualized portion of the upper abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava are
unremarkable. The visualized portion pancreatic head and body are normal. The
pancreatic tail is obscured by bowel gas. The liver is cirrhotic. No definite liver mass
identified in the visualized portions of the liver. No intrahepatic biliary duct dilatation. The
main portal vein measures 1 cm in diameter and demonstrates hepatopedal flow on
color and spectral Doppler. The common bile duct measures 1 mm. The gallbladder is
contracted with gallstones. The right kidney measures 11 cm in length. The left kidney
measures 11.4 cm in length. The kidneys are free of solid masses and hydronephrosis.
The spleen is mildly enlarged measuring 13 cm in length. No free fluid.
