Document info Result type: CT Abdomen Triple Phase Result date: Jan 09, 2017, 01:22 p.m. Result status: authenticated Performed by: Modified by: Accession number: CT Abdomen Triple Phase Patient: DOB: READ CLINICAL INFORMATION: Cirrhosis with hepatitis C and HIV co-infection. EXAMINATION: CT Triple Phase Abdomen, 1/9/2017 1:00 PM, CT170004080 COMPARISON: MRI abdomen with and without contrast, liver protocol, 7/28/2016 FINDINGS: TECHNIQUE: Multiphasic imaging was performed in the precontrast, hepatic arterial, portal venous and equilibrium phases. Post contrast imaging was performed following the intravenous administration of 100 cc of Isovue 370 contrast. Dose Range Report. CTDIvol: 4.1 -35.2 mGy, DLP: 2145 mGy-cm All CT scans at this facility use dose modulation, iterative reconstruction, and/or weight-based dosing when appropriate to reduce radiation dose to as low as reasonably achievable. Vascular: Minimal atherosclerotic calcification is seen within the abdominal aorta without aneurysmal dilatation. Hepatobiliary: Imaging findings of cirrhosis are seen with hepatic capsular nodularity. There is a surgical clip seen in the level of the hepatic dome. There is no focus of arterial phase enhancement or delayed washout to suggest hepatocellular carcinoma. Capsular retraction and heterogeneity in the central dome of the liver adjacent to the surgical clip demonstrates delayed enhancement and likely represents focal confluent fibrosis. Multiple dependently layering gallstones are seen in the gallbladder lumen. Spleen: unremarkable Pancreas: There is no pancreatic ductal dilatation or parenchymal lesion. Adrenal Glands: unremarkable Kidneys: There is no hydronephrosis. No solid renal lesions are identified. Abdominal Lymph Nodes: Subcentimeter gastrohepatic and periportal lymph nodes are seen which are likely reactive. Peritoneum/Bowel: Although the bowel is clearly imaged, there is no evidence of obstruction, free air or free fluid. Bones/Soft tissues/Other: Multiple wedge-shaped compression deformities are seen in the lumbar spine with posterior stabilizing rods spanning T11-L3. IMPRESSION: 1. Imaging findings of cirrhosis without hepatocellular carcinoma. 2. Cholelithiasis 3. Thoracolumbar fusion with L1 compression deformity. This report was dictated at Workstation ID: PLA1131
