In Jeremiah 29:7 The Bible makes it very clear that in the midst of the rebellion of the land, we should be seeking for godliness to rule and reign in the land.

We as christians are to intercede for the good of our leaders. We need to understand the issues promoted by our Government.

Hope Deferred Lord Why Haven’t You Healed Me Yet// Matthew Makar

Many Christians struggle when they feel God delays in answering their prayers. They wonder why He has not touched them yet. They wonder why He does not heal them. Many pray in faith for a little while and then they get burned out. They lose the faith to pray. They experience “false breakthroughs,” where they thought they were healed only to find out their healing did not last. This leads to “hope deferred.” They lose hope that God will break in. Sometimes they even lose their ability to pray. As the proverbs say, “Hope deferred makes the heart grow sick…” They feel heartsick. This was the situation Martha and Mary found themselves in after they believed Jesus would not let their brother die. They stood on a promise from God, and they were disappointed. Ultimately they discovered this truth: Sometimes God would rather resurrect you than heal you. Jesus did not heal their brother because He wanted to resurrect him. Through Lazarus resurrection, He built the faith of everyone around him. Jesus was so compassionate that he even mourned with Martha and Mary while their faith was weak. Ultimately, Jesus showed them the strength of His resurrection power.

We have seen how the word of God has the ability to touch and transform every area of our lives. We are the ones who can choose to either believe what the enemy says to our minds and emotions or whether to accept as truth what God has spoken to us and promised us through His written word. He has given us the right to agree with Him and see life and blessings manifest in us and through us because of our rightful relationship as sons and daughters of God. As His children, He has blessed us with a spiritual inheritance that will bring complete fulfillment in life if we will simply believe His goodness toward us. The proof of our faith will be seen and revealed by the words that we speak and allow to come through our mouth. Every area of our lives and of our loved ones can experience the fullness of God's salvation plan if we will simply speak and agree with what He has already spoken over us. Let’s use our mouth and tongue for Gods glory, releasing life to our lives and death to the lies of the enemy.

Believers in Christ are given the privilege of being able to move to God by the words they speak. The Bible

clearly teaches us that words of faith draw God's attention to us and our situations. We touch God's emotions, releasing His favor over us as we speak words of faith. Words of faith are simply the word of God found in Holy Scripture. The Word is filled with promises that can affect every area of our lives and our families. As we

speak God's word, we are tapping into the God-kind of faith that Jesus Himself said we are to have if we are to see mountains moved in our lives, bringing pleasure to the heart of the Lord by our faith. We can see this kind of faith in the life of the Apostle Paul when he said in the book of Galatians that he lived by the faith of the Son of God (Gal. 2:20). I truly believe that we are living in a day when the Holy Spirit is once again reminding the Western church of the importance of returning to the foundation of Holy Scripture, provoking us to once again make faith the bedrock of our salvation.
