You cannot read thru the Gospels and not be impressed by all the healing that Jesus does. And as we look towards the second coming of Jesus in glory — that is when all disease will be banished and we will know full healing and restoration. Through these weeks of December we are focusing on the Name of Jesus. Today we focus on HEALING in the name of Jesus. Let’s join Pastor Brian McVitty at Celebration Church in Barrie ON as we learn about Healing in the Name of Jesus.

Our featured artist this morning is Paul Turner from Emmanuel Church in Barrie. In this song called “Mercy Seat” we are reminded that “mercy flows from Jesus; broken pieces are restored; there is healing within — at his mercy seat …” Here is Paul Turner and Brian Doerksen singing “Mercy Seat”. Today’s production by Derek Welsman.

That moment of forgiveness is the moment of transformation for Jean Valjean. In the Book of Job it its the appearance of God that changes the heart of Job and his friends. It is not an answer to any of Job’s questions, it is an epiphany moment and a moment of grace. Let’s listen now to Pastor Brian McVitty at Celebration Church, Barrie ON.

Today we are plunging into the middle of the Book of Job. This is when it seems the bleakest for Job; even hope seems to be vanishing. We are going to dedicate today’s message to all those who are in the midst of a terrible situation. We pray thast all of us will be able to speak hope where hope seems to be lost. Please turn to Job chapter 19. Here is Pastor Brian McVitty

For this Thanksgiving weekend we are excited to feature Mary MacLean and Thomas Ken (with their friends) and a coast to coast song called “Shout Aloud!, with the choir singing the Doxology! Let all of Canada shout to the Lord this weekend!

Production by Derek Welsman, today’s song for Thanksgiving was a coast to coast feature called “Shout Aloud!” , and our thanks to Central Ontario’s Christian Superstation, Life 100.3.
