I'm willing to make more than 37 of these, and I promise now that no matter how sick I am of it all, I'll keep making these ones. There's some cartoons, a story, and all the song's lyrics and chords so you can all play alongat home!!

Let's just ignore for now the fact that the CD single is a dead medium, it's much easier to make CDs than it is to get songs on itunes. And more fun!

I did this in the Biscuit Factory, I'm apologetic toward the person's whose fashion stuff this is, but your mannequin was so lovely.

When you hear this podcast you'll note that we mention Paddy Duffy. Paddy, like me, is a Rileyite.

<blockquote style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">Riley.ite -
n.
1. A group of artists/poets/musicians and intellectuals who in the beginning of the 21st Century produced art in celebration of thier muse Rachel Riley.

2. Anyone who appreciates the beauty and intellectual prowess of Rachel Riley.

[After Rachel Riley, the assistant host on Countdown who replaced Carol Vodermann in January 2009.]
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">He composed a limerick for her which was read out on Countdown literally minutes after Mark left my house on Friday when we'd finished recording. Jeff read out two limericks, noting the name of the composer of the first effort - someone we'll call a Stellingite as the ode was to Stelling. Jeff, then, read out Paddy's. I only know it was Paddy's because Paddy told me. JEFF said nothing of the sort!! GADZOOKS!!
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">So, because we Rileyites stick together (and he was going to help with the mannequin thing) I'MTAKING A STAND.
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">This is the limerick:

<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">There once was a lady called Riley,
Who'd mastered her figures entirely,
Jeff made advances, asked "What are my chances?"
"One in a million." She said to him, dryly.
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">

<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">I'm not really sure about how to sort this out. I might just email Jon Richardson about it, like I do all my problems. I even emailed him about my plan to get him to come to Newcastle but I think he's ignored me there. He did read one of my emails out, though. It was about Comedian's football.
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">Paddy, by the way does a great impersonation of Jimmy Stewart. I'm not sure, however, he'd want me showing people the movie of him doing it.
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">Annnnyway... So you've noticed it's fortnightly now? Well that's not all. It's also better. There's in the pipeworks a new thing I'm working on tentatively titled (subject to change) "Movie Wars" or something. This is something I hope becomes a phenomenon that the listenership gets involved in, but it probably won't because you hardly ever do. Basically the premise is thus: Deb, Mark, and I challenge eachother (semi-regularly) to a Movie War, and we have to produce a film each, and then the best one is judged and the winner gets a cake. We talk at length on the podcast about what my Mag Op. (Waugh joke, there) will be... Brideshead Revisited.
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">Not the new film, though. The 13 Hour 1981 version with Jeremy Irons. I'm going to condense that down to about 10 mins. I'm halfway through the writing. They'll not all be these epic things, there's bound to be some done sooner than the September I'm aiming for this to be done, too. But I've got a location trip to Castle Howard in mind for this badboy.
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">Anyway Evolution:
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">
<p style=""margin:" 13px="13px">
19px Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; background-color: #ffffff; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; padding: 0.6em;">Not too bad, but we've taken this bold decision to change the format of the show also to be a little break. And I had a nightmare about the new act comp last night, that my Dad was heckling me, they took the stage apart, and that my keyboard was a toy piano. :(

Heyo,

This has been a jolly stressful week for me. I've been experiencing a gig with a new musical theme, the build up to my driving test, I've applied for a job I really want (if I get this job... I wouldn't need my current job and then it'd be my 'old job' and I could talk about when I used to work at the pub. And I could move out), found out I've gotten a heat for the Hilarity Bites New Acts competition (and now need to sort my set out for it), and I just started doing an improv comedy workshop which was stressful as it meant walking to the dodgy east end of Newcastle.

So... Evolution hasn't been as big a priority this week. Which is odd then that I scored a WHOPPING 23!! And therefore my best week to date:

[caption id="attachment_402" align="aligncenter" width="506" caption="Look! I think it was the job applications."][/caption]

So, anyway this week... well, to counter my stress (pre-emptively since neither the improv, the competition, or the job apps occured yet) I started to find enlightenment. Enlightenment, for those who don't know:

"Enlightenment broadly means wisdom or understanding enabling clarity of perception."

I.E. What Yoda has in Star Wars.

So to do this I went for a couple of things. Some guided meditation from Teamvolution member Deborah Cole, and then Mark and I went to the park to do some Tai Chi. The problem with that, though, was that we couldn't resist going to town and continuing our war with the flyer people on Northumberland Street... with the suprising result that we've won. They avoid us now.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2LTljOXq1o&feature=channel]

Some of you may complain that popping and locking isn't Tai Chi. You're right. I had NO idea what I was doing. Youtube doesn't apparently act as a substitute to books and lessons and that.

Incidentally, yesterday I met a lad at my improv workshop who does door to door charity stuff. I think perhaps we should interview him and see what makes him tick. I'm going to assume it's the bonuses and the £7 an hour... but we'll see.

This week's Teafoodlution (tm) was provided by Mark, and it was Lychees and Physalis.

[caption id="attachment_407" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Left to Right: Lychees and Physalis on a copy of "Round Ireland with a Fridge" by Tony Hawks"][/caption]

This week also saw the sad loss of Dolly to drink:

[caption id="attachment_408" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="*Hic* I FACKIN LOVE EWE! *Hic*"][/caption]

And the podsong this week was "RAGE!" which I wrote and performed on Tuesday before a set the the Dog and Parrot. This was before my new improv coach lady, who then saw fit to give me a lottle solo performance yesterday as a University Lecturer who has poor eyesight, believes he's teaching his students and then finds out it's the governors when he has his glasses on. I don't know how I did. But I think adding in the fact his wife had left him that morning at the students, denying it to the govenors, asking for tenure, then deciding penguins would be a great idea for his lecture (when I was told to have a breakthough) and then saying "We were going to call our first baby Pingu!" (when told to have a breakdown) was quite good.

I think i'll teach Mark some improv games for the podcast next week.

Happy pillowfighting,

Mike

Hi. It’s just been Easter, as those of you who keep an eye on Jesus will no doubt know. Working in pubs means you don’t have an easter, you just have a very busy weekend. We’ve had very little time to parlé, and thus I’ve not evolved much this week! Still, the podcast has come out okay. We aknowledge what’s happened (we’re having a “conceptual” week) and ended up just having a silly conversation about life, weddings, love, stalking, and all that.

The podsong was “Supermarket Fair-trade Girl” - which I wrote with my friend Steve McGrath. I don’t know if he would like to appear on the website, so I’ve just got a pic of some of his hair.

Hi. It's just been Easter, as those of you who keep an eye on Jesus will no doubt know. Working in pubs means you don't have an easter, you just have a very busy weekend. We've had very little time to parlé, and thus I've not evolved much this week! Still, the podcast has come out okay. We aknowledge what's happened (we're having a "conceptual" week) and ended up just having a silly conversation about life, weddings, love, stalking, and all that.

The podsong was "Supermarket Fair-trade Girl" - which I wrote with my friend Steve McGrath. I don't know if he would like to appear on the website, so I've just got a pic of some of his hair.

[caption id="attachment_379" align="aligncenter" width="200" caption="He's a Ginger Lion."][/caption]

In fact here's Steve, myself, and Deborah on Jon Richardson's Gallery on his site:

[caption id="attachment_382" align="aligncenter" width="420" caption="Look! Now Deb's a Tiger!"][/caption]

Tea-Volution (the new pun for when we have tea - under the banner of Tea-food-lution (tm)!) this week was a lemon and ginger herbal infusion. From Heath and Heather, purchased in Holland and Barret.

And I've started a cause!! And I NEED YOUR HELP! I want to get Jon Richardson to play some gigs in the North East!! So if you want to bring a great comic to an underprivalged area then join my group on Facebook until I can sort out a petition!

[caption id="attachment_380" align="aligncenter" width="315" caption="Come to the Toon, man!!"][/caption]

Now this podcast was always going to be like this. Peaks and troughs. We address the fact that it's essentially like the news, and we don't have a week in hand or a team of writers or even time (as we work) so... it's tricky (can you guess how many times I say "tricky" in this week's podcast?). I think it's an important part of it, though, as a document for the year. We can look at how one event (Mark's absence last week) made that week's one quite good, but the week after's a bit... unplanned.

Essentially, I've not evolved because of something that didn't even directly affect me. This is human weakness... must be eliminated....!!

Though I have to say, while I didn't evolve much Dolly, the Evolution Diaries Offical Mascot, has done loads of things:

[caption id="attachment_383" align="aligncenter" width="350" caption="1. Dolly spots an old friend."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_384" align="aligncenter" width="350" caption="2. Dolly shows off her balancing skills, but her old friend isn't impressed."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_385" align="aligncenter" width="350" caption="3. Dolly kills her with heat ray, and makes a cushion out of her wool."][/caption]

Anyway, next week should be good! So stick around chaps/chappettes!

Happy Woolweaving!

I’m afraid this week’s podcast is a mere 15 minutes. Mark is nowhere to be heard, but luckily Teamvolution member Deborah Cole (Telulah LeBon) has stepped into the breach and we spent an afternoon writing and recording a short radio play about The Famous Five. It’s a wee homagé to “The Comic Strip Presents” ones, only with the slight change in that Dick is now a persecuted Geordie.

There is a podsong, it’s about the game I’ve just downloaded (as it’s finally its day of release on Windows) called Braid. Remember the cartoon with the little guy and dinosaur? Braid.

This week also saw the Just A Minute game at Long Live Comedy… kudos to Teamvolution member Nicola Millward for filming.

Blatant frigging about with the scoring system, I must say.

This week, since I knew on Tuesday we wouldn't be doing a proper podcast, I've been enjoying myself. Primarily through something I'm calling "Spud Sculpture".

I'm counting all the work on the website and the tilt-shift nerdery as my pod-drawing. And I've not had the chance to change the rules yet for my 6-week thing... which has irked me. But next week... ooorgh!

Happy thing thing....

FOR THE BLOG POST GO TO: http://www.mikedunbarcomedy.wordpress.com
(Ed. I just passed my driving theory test! YES! But also the 'cast had to go down a notch in quality do to it's length... once again, the podsongs are in the podsong section in higher quality. AND... do to the amount of stuff we've been up to there are THREE videos this week)
I'm writing this bit of blog (or at least preparing the first draft) on Wednesday night. About four hours ago I had never seen David Byrne in concert. Now, I have. Friends, I love you all. It is a wonderful day. I never thought I'd ever see him in concert even when I was dancing like a loon on Episode 3 imitating his performance of "Life During Wartime". With this in mind, this week's Evolution Champion's list is just simply crammed with wonders... oh, but first of all, a bit of old business:

Firstly I had to say Nicola Millward because she helped me out by writing some lyrics for this week's podsong. I didn't really use them, but I did take her idea for the subject of the song so thanks there. I hope the song is good enough for Jack Coolenbaum, our friend from last week who made the request for a "Modern Major General" parody. Thing is, I've heard a million of those, and often wondered what was missing. I assumed it was sampling and Will Smith.

Secondly (though really firstly), Nicola Millward's Dad who had a spare ticket for David Byrne and let me come along!! 24 Carat Ledgend for that. He's helped me realise a dream I never thought I'd ever... realise. Paying for the ticket and copying the man CDs isn't enough... I feel like I need to do something more. Look, everyone, here's Byrne and his energetic dancers and band:

Evolution Champs continued... Damien Eadie. That's all I'm saying here. It's a good story, you need to hear the podcast though. I feel like a stripper doing this, though. Like I've flashed a tassle at you.

Last but by no means least... Lisa Bentman, otherwise known as New girl in Town!! Who very kindly offered to remix one of my songs, and in keeping with the Countdown theme of this week's podcast I selected "The Ballad of Rachel Riley" which I've made available on the podsong page, but you should also go on over to her Myspace and listen to her other music which is very good indeed!

This week Mark brought a Stylophone in with him. Why? Why not. So, I took it as a good time to answer Tasha Drake's request to perform a live podsong. So... this week's EXTRA podsong is called... oh, that's a good point. I suppose it's "The Ballad of Telulah LeBon".

We got some more tea! We have a video of this, because it flowers out!! Exciting. More Jasmin:

And due to a certain slump in points I had, well... I thought I had to get more treble scores... we went off to do "An Act of Moral Convicton", "Connect Myself to A Cause", and, "Uplift a Stanger". I've basically started a war, though, with all of the people on Northumberland Street who are paid to be there. I mean Market Researchers, Bad Buskers, Those People Who Hand Flyers Out, and Charity Workers (who aren't volunteers but actually shipped in from other parts of the Country... technically paid for by "Gift" but since "Gift" are funded by THE CHARITY, they are paid for by the donations... so... snake eating it's own tail).

And one more video... a call back to Episode 3... My dancing to "Life During Wartime" is throughly outclassed by this amazing woman (I don't know why the video's come out like it's Benny Hill, but it adds a slightly comedic edge. I was just meaning to show you her moves):

FOR FULL BLOG POST AND PODSONGS AND VIDEOS AND THAT... http://www.mikedunbarcomedy.wordpress.com

We've both been a bit peaky this week. We struggled on though. First of all this week, I went to discover my new talent I'm going to be working on: Ventriloquism.

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbKFfkxwFks&feature=channel_page]

That's DAVE PANDA!! WAyyy! He's a cockney taxi driver, he supports West Ham, he'll tell you he's decked Ray Winstone, and that he got Sue from Sooty pregnant back in the eighties, but hasn't met his son.

Pod-drawing this week is some dinosaurs:

This week was also a special week in terms of Evolution Champions. We had the returns of Tony Parker (sparking yet more David Byrne debate), Ben from Teatunes, and a late entry of "JACK!" whose surname I think is Coolenbaum. He's certianly cool, as Mark allowed me to discover over the phone. I won an uplifting a stranger point for this!

The pod-song (remember by the way that you can download them seperately on the podsongs page!) this week, I must say, is the best so far. It's a song, in tribute of the girl I apparently hurt as a child, Sam Brown, who is now a games developer. Rather than focus on the sad circumstances, I thought I'd write her an empowering anthem focused on a good female role model: Lara Croft!

The health food we tried this week was, the first time, not a kind of tea. It was Sweet Sharon Fruit which I've just learned, literally this minute upon finding that link is in fact just persimmon. Ah well. Anyway, I'm fairly sure they were a bit rotten:

But I was quick to get over it and play on my new game! The Political Machine 2008, starring Barack Obama and the rest of that crazy crew! Since the podcast was recorded I've also downloaded Josiah Bartlett from The West Wing as a candidate to play as. And Sam Norman Seaborn. Norman is my middle name also.

Mark and I phoned Mark's stalking victim, a chap called Carl who Mark discovered by inputting his phone number into google, after finding it written on a label and fastened to a "wish tree" at the Baltic Museum of Modern Art. He seemed quite happy to talk to us, though I must admit I poured scorn on Mark for doing this. He just seemed a bit ungrateful for the Toffee Crisp I gave him at the start of the podcast.

Interesting news I can reveal now, that's happened since recording is that I've procured a ticket to see David Byrne NEXT WEEK. A full report will be given, as probably a large photograph of a HALL FULL OF PEOPLE WHO REGARD HIM AS A PUBLIC FIGURE. So once again, MARK, SUCK. ON. THAT.

And just again, I'd like to mention the post directly below this on the blog regarding the Countdown forum and my Rachel Riley song from the other week. Cheers again!

Next week's podsong will be in the style of "Modern Major General" from Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, as requested.

And I just got my free Darwin poster through the post. Happy days!

Happy Body Building,

FOR PROPER BLOG POST AND VIDS go TO… www.mikedunbarcomedy.wordpress.com

NEWS FLASH: I’ve just realised I don’t have unlimited space on podbean without paying for it. I can’t afford to pay for it, so I think I can only keep the latest 3 podcasts active for streaming/download. Therefore there’ll only be 3 at one time on itunes, too. I think. Fear not, however, I’m working on a storage solution here. This will, however, depend on demand. So, should you need it, I’d like an email and I’ll work out an email to you for any episode you can’t get. So far only the first (rather disappointing) episode has been removed.

Hey Ho!

FOR PROPER BLOG POST AND VIDS go TO... www.mikedunbarcomedy.wordpress.com

NEWS FLASH: I've just realised I don't have unlimited space on podbean without paying for it. I can't afford to pay for it, so I think I can only keep the latest 3 podcasts active for streaming/download. Therefore there'll only be 3 at one time on itunes, too. I think. Fear not, however, I'm working on a storage solution here. This will, however, depend on demand. So, should you need it, I'd like an email and I'll work out an email to you for any episode you can't get. So far only the first (rather disappointing) episode has been removed.

I think this has been the hardest week so far, in terms of the obvious obligation that not only am I doing this experiment, but that it all has to be entertaining. I'm referring specifically to the podsong, which has left me so uninspired this week, that I've had to do two. Mark said my remix of Ben Folds "Free Coffee" to be "Free Tea" - even though I'd added strings off things as diverse as The English Patient soundtrack and Owen Pallett's "He Poos Clouds" album, and some poetry, DIDN'T COUNT!! Gutting!! Though it is on the 'cast anyway.

So I had several ideas, I'd done another remix which would also be void (and was rubbish) so I ended writing a song about this chap, Shane.

He's called Shane, (hence it being called "Shane!") and he's a dog you can sponsor at Dog's Trust, whose smile is bizarre and wonderful. He's desktop background now.

This week has been hard for that, but also I had my first advertised gig... I mean advertised with my name on the advert. In The Crack magazine in Newcastle. I found my name on a poster, and then read a positive review of my performance, so... you know, I think it was worth it. I'm not posting these things, as that seems a bit indulgent.

This week I tried to be more efficient, and achieve multiple goals at once, inspired by the fact my dancing may have gotten me the Bonus of the impression as someone in the video who watched me has mentioned it to someone I know!!! So I thought I'd try and achieve learning a new skill (game design) and achieve the bonus (invent a consumer product) so... may I present the conceptual art for Downturn St (tm)!!! My board game based on the recession!!

This week we tried a herbal (Read: fake) tea. Apple and Cinammon. It was a bit of a let down.

I found out that I've got uplift a former "girlfriend" (from when we were 10 years old) who I mistreated. Dolly the Sheep reveals she's gone vegetarian (she wasn't before) after an encounter in Boots.

Most interestingly though, due to demand, I've revealed the identity of the voice over girl. Her name is Telulah LeBon, and this is a picture of her showing me her prized possession, a SIGNED picture of the Chuckle Brothers!!

Pod drawing this week is a "satirical" political cartoon

Healthy Living!

(For the VIDEO, and the photos, go here: www.mikedunbarcomedy.wordpress.com)

This was a big week for evolution. I've learned a lot, though, because I've only scored 20 points! Half a point LESS than last week! YET I did LOADS of stuff!! I'm gutted.

I feel that by achieving the harder ones of cycling and running 10 miles (which is the easy early target I set myself) which I did on Monday with half of my climbing, that the week would be successful. This wasn't the case though, really, because the score was worse! A travesty.

This week my heart was firmly in the cause, despite my work hours, but I realise that once again the problem is efficiency. So even though I made friends with a piece of wall that looked a bit like a fraggle: And got a new mascot who'll I'll be taking all over the world:

And I found some inspiration for my dancing task, in the form of a nice pun on a Hairdresser's shop: The fact I spent all of Tuesday dancing like an idiot to overcome my fear of dancing in clubs (and replacing it with a fear of dancing in the street ever again) meant that I only did one other point that day - which was my act of moral conviction. I made a film of my dancing though, so let's have a look!! Some of that was in the Baltic Art Gallery (link), during Yoko Ono's exhibit. Part of that exhibit was a "wish tree". A tree people could attach little gift labels to, which declared a wish. There were some nice ones... and some not so nice:

One led to something in the podcast that I couldn't really have planned, but actually got me a point! Woo.

Podsong this week was my attempt at rap. I'll say now the harpischord bit took a very long time. And the pod drawing was inspired by the dancing task:

This week also saw us in parlé with the chaps at Teatunes again, and this week we tried out a caked tea!! Their site has a better run down than we could muster. It was nice to hear Ben say nice things though. Though he did say I was insane last night.

Annnnnnnnd finally...

I mentioned wheelchairs last week, and wondered why they aren't used by more people. Well, this man has the right idea! I saw him in the shops, the photo's rubbish, but he has a purple chair, covered in flames, and Harley Davison stickers and things on it!!

Happy Life Day!

Well it's been an interesting week. It hasn't went at all to plan. I scored a mere 17.5 out of 28. I EVEN LOST MY PEDOMETER! I did, however, write a chilling ballad for the delightful Rachel Riley off countdown, and this week's pod-drawing was all about her:

But that's not all that happened! Nope! We recieved a package here at Evolution Towers, from the chaps over at Teatunes. In it was a letter, a small baggie of Jasmine Pearls Flowering Tea, and a little package mysteriously, and ominously, only annotated with a single question mark!! Did we open it? No. We were told to wait til next week, and we will...

This week also saw me attempting my first climbing in nearly two years. And even then I hadn't seriously climbed since about 2005:

And this week saw me attempting to rid my girlfriend of her affliction, her fear of fishies. I asked a man a silly question and got a serious answer, which was amusing. But I should also mention the things this week in the experiment that didn't make it onto the podcast:

My new skill: I learned a magic trick regarding a banana. Help someone you know: I help Deborah make breakfast. Do something for someone you don't know: I held a door open for a man in a wheelchair and I didn't even want to go through that door.

I found out that I weight only 10.8 stone! Mark thought I may be underweight, so I thought well if that's true we'd better check my BMI and put it into the experiment. My height is about 5'11". So my BMI is... 21.2!

SO SUCK THAT MARK! I'm NORMAL.

This week also saw two new features come onto the show! Evolution Champions, and Mike's Running Joke.

Now everybody, if you have a fear for me to face, a song you want written, a food we can try, or a stranger for me to uplift, then PLEASE email me at mikedunbarcomedy@gmail.com

Oh, video of the week has to be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeSV4oPKg2I&feature=related

Episode 1 of the new weekly podcast. Already I’ve hit a number of brick walls! But I’ll strive on. In this episode I describe the problems I’ve had preparing for this experiment (in that I chose to do it a week before I’m due to start), such as the microphone I bought that’s meant to worn by German doormen, and the headband that may or may not be a girl’s hairband. Mark realises that my plan includes the facility for a drunken party if I move out of my parent’s house, without detriment to my evolution, and we take the recording equipment out for a walk.
