<itunes:summary>The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across the 8th Dimension (1984)
Hello, I am Randy Andrews and today I’ll be discussing The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the Eighth Dimension. I’ll talk about the cast, the background, the technical aspects and also the soundtrack. It’s all today on Soundtrack Alley!
Play Intro
So today I’ll be talking about the cult classic from 1984 Buckaroo Banzai. Let’s get into some of the discussion on the cast…
Play quote.
Jamie Lee Curtis played Buckaroo's mother in a flashback, but this scene was cut. The scene is available on the recent DVD release as an optional prequel to the theatrical version, and as a special feature. Jamie Lee Curtis is visible in a photo on the dashboard of the jet car in the wide-screen version.
John Lithgow's dialect coach, Roberto Terminelli, was actually a tailor on the 20th Century Fox lot with a heavy Italian accent. John had Roberto speak his lines from the script into a tape recorder, which he then used to practice the accent. John then got him credit in the movie as the dialect coach for his help.
John Lithgow appeared as Dr. Lizardo on Saturday Night Live (1975) during the opening of show he hosted.
Many of the lines given by Lord John Whorfin (Dr. Lizardo, John Lithgow) are misquotes of actual common phrases or quotes from famous people. For instance, "Home is where you wear your hat", as a corruption of, "Home is where you hang your hat." His line, "Character is who you are in the dark", is a corruption of Dwight Moody's quote, "Character is what you think in the dark." Other, similar lines include: "I feel so broke up, I want to go home" (from Sloop John B), "Persecute him without a quarter!" ("Pursue him without quarter!")
Buckaroo sings "Since I Don't Have You" in the nightclub scene. Released in December 1958 by The Skyliners, the song became their greatest hit and remains an all-time doo-wop classic.
New Jersey's (Jeff Goldblum's) response to Buckaroo (Peter Weller) (He couldn't sing, but he could dance) is a reference to screen-test results from Fred Astaire's early auditions
According to Peter Weller, he had a particularly tough time filming the scene without laughing where Lord John Whorfin (Dr. Lizardo) is torturing Buckaroo with electricity, because it was the first time he had heard John Lithgow perform what Weller likes to refer to as John's "Italian/Martian accent".
When John Whorfin calls collect for John Bigboote (Christopher Lloyd), he tells the operator he is calling "Grovers Mill". Grovers Mill was a real-life community in New Jersey, which was used in Orson Welles' famous radio broadcast of "War of the Worlds", and is now a part of West Windsor Township in Mercer county.
When it came time to film the end titles sequence, where Buckaroo and pals are walking around a dry Los Angeles aqueduct in step to the music, the music wasn't ready. Composer Michael Boddicker told the film crew to use the song, "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel as a placeholder, because it was the exact same tempo. Those scenes were filmed with "Uptown Girl" blaring from a boom box tied to the back of the camera truck.
Now let’s talk about some of the background on the film.
Play quote
Some of the dialogue used in the Jet Car sequence is taken directly from Mission Control chatter heard during a shuttle launch countdown.
The U.S. DVD release includes a caption portion titled "Pinky Caruthers' Unknown Facts", which actually adds to the storyline and character development of the film.
In the original script, Buckaroo was supposed to have an archenemy named Hanoi Xan, who was never seen, but referenced to by Buckaroo and the other characters. All scenes containing dialogue regarding Xan were deleted from the film's theatrical release, but are now available on DVD. Xan was supposed to be the mysterious head of a crime syndicate called the World Crime Leagu</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>Top Ten Scores of 2017!
Hello, I am Randy Andrews and today is the last episode of the year. I’ll be presenting my top ten picks for 2017. Now I’ll also present my honorable mentions for 2017 as well. It’s all today on Soundtrack Alley!
Play Intro
Hello friends and music lovers. It is the end of the year! Only Three days including today left in the year!
I’ll be expressing my feelings on my top 10 film scores for the year! I’ll also mention two honorable mentions for the episode. So let’s get this off with a bang!
(Number 10)! (Echo Voice)
For my number 10 spot I’ve got the score to King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. This score was composed by Daniel Pemberton. This is a very rock heavy score. For it being a Guy Ritchie Film, there is definitely a lot of rock in this score. I’ll only highlight two pieces of music that pretty much sums up the film. The plot is this…After the murder of his father, young Arthur's power-hungry uncle Vortigern seizes control of the crown. Robbed of his birthright, he grows up the hard way in the back alleys of the city, not knowing who he truly is. When fate leads him to pull the Excalibur sword from stone, Arthur embraces his true destiny to become a legendary fighter and leader. They are entitled King Arthur: Legend of the Sword; and the Power of Excalibur. It’s very hard to pick music from an album that has so many impressive cues to it. Enjoy!
Play cues
(Number 9)! (Echo Voice)
My number 9 is The Dark Tower with the score being composed by Tom Holkenborg. This is a score based upon the book by the same name written by Stephen King. The film has some very impressive production quality and has a flare for the supernatural. Here is the plot…Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), the last Gunslinger, is locked in an eternal battle with Walter O'Dim (Matthew McConaughey), also known as the Man in Black. The Gunslinger must prevent the Man in Black from toppling the Dark Tower, the key that holds the universe together. With the fate of worlds at stake, two men collide in the ultimate battle between good and evil. The score has an epic feel and I actually enjoy it on its own. The cues I’ll present encompass The Dark Tower, Keystone Earth and then It Will Fall. I hope you find these epic enough in scale to stand on their own…
Play cues
(Number 8)! (Echo Voice)
My number 8 is The Zoo-Keeper’s Wife. The score was composed by Harry Gregson Williams. This is a brilliant score and stands the test of time with Dramatic scoring. Harry Gregson Williams does an impressive job with this score. The film is about The time is 1939 and the place is Poland, homeland of Antonina Zabinski and her husband, Dr. Jan Zabinski. The Warsaw Zoo flourishes under Jan's stewardship and Antonina's care. When their country is invaded by the Nazis, Jan and Antonina are forced to report to the Reich's newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck. The Zabinskis covertly begin working with the Resistance and put into action plans to save the lives of hundreds from what has become the Warsaw Ghetto. I hope you enjoy the cues Warsaw Zoo 1939; and Home Again. These pieces of music really impress upon me the emotion that resides in the movie and how connected we are to the characters.
Play cues
(Number 7)! (Echo Voice)
My number 7 is Tulip Fever by Danny Elfman. This period piece is really impressive and shows that Danny Elfman has the ability to break out of his super-hero genre writing and truly write something that reaches our hearts and gives us the feeling of being in an environment. The cues I’ll play include Sophia’s Theme and The Wait. This film is summarized as Set against the backdrop of the 17th-century Tulip Wars, a married noblewoman (Alicia Vikander) has an affair with an artist (Dane DeHaan) and switches identities with her maid to escape the wealthy merchant she married. She and her lover try to raise money together by investing w</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>Return to Oz (1985)
Hello I am Randy Andrews and Today I’ll be discussing Return to Oz from 1985. I’ll discuss the cast, the background, the technical aspects and of course the score all today on Soundtrack Alley!
Play Intro
Hello everyone, today I’ll be discussing Return to Oz. There are plenty of things to discuss on this film. It’s dark and brooding, but so much fun.
Here is the basic plot…Dorothy discovers she is back in the land of Oz, and finds the yellow brick road is now a pile of rubble, and the Emerald City is in ruins. Discovering that the magical land is now under the control of an evil empire, she sets off to rescue the scarecrow, the tin man and the lion with the help of her new friends.
So let’s start with talking about the cast…
Play clip
A gymnast, Michael Sundin, stood upside-down (with legs bent) and backwards inside Tik-Tok's body to move the legs.
Fairuza Balk actually performed most of the film barefoot, as she found her black shoes uncomfortable, and the ruby slippers were very fragile and easily damaged. Thus, the actress only wore shoes when they would be visible on camera.
Fairuza Balk did all her own stunts.
Fairuza Balk's ruby slippers were specially handmade with imitation rubies and rotoscoped in post-production to give them a magical look. The rubies were actually glass beads imported from Austria and individually attached to the shoes with a special spray adhesive. This later proved problematic, as the hot stage lights melted the adhesive, and the young actress' fidgety movements would often knock the beads off. Tired of chasing after detached beads, the wardrobe staff finally ordered the shoes to be worn only when visible on camera.
The scene where Dorothy (Fairuza Balk) falls onto the couch with a thud and onto the Nome King's mountain was done in 11 takes
This was Fairuza Balk's first feature film debut. She did appear in a TV movie before this but this is her first featured movie.
Christopher Lloyd was considered to play the Nome King while Louise Fletcher, Teri Garr, and Mary Steenburgen were considered to play Princess Mombi. Disney regular of the 70s Don Knotts was considered to voice Billina and former Disney regular of the 60s Dick Van Dyke was considered to voice either Jack Pumpkinhead or the Scarecrow.
Emma Ridley (Ozma) was dubbed in post-production by director Walter Murch's daughter Beatrice. Ridley's natural voice was deemed too British for the character.
Pons Maar who plays the Lead Wheeler, one of the asylum orderlies, and provides the voice of the Nome Messenger also served as a movement coach on the film, working to develop the postures and movements of the Scarecrow and Jack Pumpkinhead.
Emma Ridley, who plays Ozma, also auditioned for the role of Dorothy. Other actresses who auditioned for the role included Drew Barrymore, Alanis Morissette, Toni Ann Gisondi, Elizabeth Berkley, and Juliette Lewis.
Leo McKern, who bore a strong resemblance to the character in the original Oz illustrations, was the first choice for the role of the Nome King. McKern turned down the role due to scheduling conflicts.
While filming the sequence near the end of film where Dorothy rides atop the Cowardly Lion, actress Fairuza Balk became so overwhelmed by the temperature (in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit) that she passed out on the sound stage.
Now Let’s get into some of the info on the director…
Play Clip
Director Walter Murch invited friend George Lucas to visit the set one day. During that visit Lucas wandered to different sound stages where he came across producer Rick McCallum working on a small film. The two became friends and later collaborated on the "Star Wars" prequels.
Walter Murch never intended for this film to be viewed as a direct sequel to The Wizard of Oz (1939); rather, he intended it as a partial sequel with some direct ref</itunes:summary>

Hello I am Randy Andrews and today I’ll be interviewing Carlos Rafael Rivera. He just recently composed music for the Netflix series Godless. I’ll be asking him questions about his career and other things. I’ll also share the main theme to Godless among another suite created for A Walk Among the Tombstones. It’s all today on Soundtrack Alley!
Play Intro
Hello, Today I’ll be presenting the interview with Carlos Rafael Rivera. I hope you enjoy it!
Play Interview.
How did you begin composing for film, concert, and television?
What has it been like being a protégé of Randy Newman and what kind of advice does he provide to extend your career?
Do you have personal projects with being a Guitarist? Explain
What exactly is the Society of composers and Lyricist and what part do you play?
What sound were you looking for with the new Netflix series Godless coming up?
Is it a different type of genre you are used to composing for?
If you had a dream job of composing for a major production whether for film or television, past or present, what would it be and why?
Do you think its easier to compose for a large orchestra or a small one?
What are you currently working on?
Are there any future projects you can talk about?
Thank you so much for taking the time for this interview.

So talking with Carlos, he opened me up to listening to A Walk Among the Tombstones. So today I’ll present a short suite for you with The Main Title, Among the Tombstones and Aftermath and Reprise. These cues really highlight the guitar work that Carlos is able to do. I really appreciate the cello work as well. So now I’ll play those cues.
<itunes:summary>Hayao Miyazaki Films that touched me
Hello, I am Randy Andrews and Today is a special show where I will be discussing four, yes count them four Hayao Miyazaki films that have touched me on a personal level. I’ll discuss some of the background, the art the way the film has moved me and a tidbit from the score, all today on Soundtrack Alley!

Hello, Today I’ll be discussing four of my favorite Miyazaki films. These are in the order of which I’ll present them, Nausicaa of The Valley of the Wind; Castle in the Sky; Princess Mononoke; and Porco Rosso. I’ll begin by discussing Nausicaa.
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)

Hayao Miyazaki was still so upset by the truncated 'Warriors of the Wind' version of Nausicaa, that when Harvey Weinstein approached him to discuss the distribution to Princess Mononoke (1997) and insisted on a similar heavily cut version of the film, Miyazaki angrily left the meeting. Several days later, Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzukisent a katana sword to Weinstein's office with 'NO CUTS' embedded into its blade. The film was later released in the USA in its uncut version. During a later interview, Miyazaki commented on the incident by smiling and stating "I defeated him".

The film was initially released in the United States and Europe as "Warriors of the Wind" by distribution company New World Pictures. However, the company had substantially modified the film to more closely resemble a traditional action-adventure. Nearly 25 minutes of footage containing vital exposition was cut, and some dialogue was purposely mistranslated to alter or simplify certain story elements. Many of the character names were changed (e.g. Nausicaä became Zandra), and the voice actors were not given the script for context. To make matters even worse, promotional images prominently depicted characters and creatures that weren't even in the film, whereas the female protagonist was placed in the background. Not surprisingly, director Hayao Miyazaki and his Ghibli studio openly despised these changes. When the rights to the picture expired in 1995, they negotiated a new deal with the Walt Disney Company. This led to a re-release in 2005 of the uncut version with a completely new dub that was a more faithful translation of the original script. Miyazaki has since urged viewers to forget the old version, and "dismiss it from their minds".

After the heavily re-written and edited 1985 release of this film in the United States and Europe (as "Warriors of the Wind"), which substantially changed the movie in addition to cutting nearly 25 minutes of footage, Hayao Miyazaki was hesitant to release any of his film's outside of Japan. Miyazaki demanded that any new licensor for his films be contractually bound to do no edits whatsoever aside from a straight translation and dub. Disney (who bought the rights to all of Miyazaki's films except The Castle of Cagliostro(1979)) has honored this stipulation.

Nausicaä is the name of a character in Homer's Odyssey.

Adapted from the first two volumes of the original manga which Hayao Miyazaki wrote and drew for Animage from February 1982 through March 1994. He took breaks from working on the manga & worked on the earlier anime films he did. The manga is longer and more complex than the movie, featuring many more characters and places.

The lack of color fidelity used in certain versions give many people the impression that Naussicaä flies around in a miniskirt with a bare butt. This is not the case, she's wearing pants that happen to be roughly the same color as her skin, and the "skirt" is actually the lower part of her coat.

While many consider this to be a Studio Ghibli film, it was actually created before the studio was properly founded, and is instead a production of Topcraft. Studio Ghibli was officially founded in 1985, and its first production was Castle in t</itunes:summary>
Hello, I am Randy Andrews and today I’ve got Darrin and Ruth Sutherland from Trekker Talk, Xenozoic Xenophiles, and Warlord Worlds. We will be discussing Ladyhawke. We will talk about the cast, the background, the technical aspects and of course the wonderful soundtrack all today on Soundtrack Alley!

Play Soundtrack Alley Intro

Hello, I’m Randy Andrews, I’m here with Darrin and Ruth Sutherland, how are you both today?
Allow for opening comments.

So lets get into the movie about Ladyhawke. Darrin and Ruth what was your first experience with Ladyhawke and how did you come to love the movie?

In one scene, Navarre tells Philippe to ride his horse to Imperius' castle and slaps the horse's rear to make it ride. However, the first time the scene was filmed, Rutger Hauer(Navarre) slapped the horse too hard and it took off over the hill and off into the horizon. The horse was too powerful for Matthew Broderick to stop, so all everyone could do was sit and wait for him to come back.

Richard Donner originally wanted to cast Rutger Hauer as the evil captain of the guard while casting a younger actor, Kurt Russell, as Navarre. Hauer wasn't interested in that role, but expressed interest in playing Navarre. When Russell dropped out a few days before principal photography began, the part was handed to Hauer.

Matthew Broderick and John Wood worked together before, in the movie WarGames(1983).
The film was released the same year as another medieval film starring Rutger Hauer, Flesh + Blood (1985).

Richard Donner once said that he had considered Mick Jagger for the Bishop.

When Richard Donner was considering Dustin Hoffman for the Matthew Broderick role, he had Sean Connery in mind for the Rutger Hauer part. All three actors would appear in Family Business (1989).

Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer both went on to feature in Batman films. Michelle portrayed Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992) and Rutger portrayed Chairman Earle in Batman Begins (2005).

The name of Captain Etienne Navarre (Rutger Hauer)'s horse was "Goliath".

John Wood plays a corrupt Catholic bishop. In Lady Jane (1986), he plays John Dudley, Duke of Northumberland. Dudley schemed to place his daughter-in-law, Lady Jane Grey, on the English throne for 9 days in an effort to keep Mary I - a devout Catholic - from ruling the country.

Rutger Hauer doesn't appear until 15 minutes into the film.

The nickname of Phillipe Gaston (Matthew Broderick) was "The Mouse".
Alfred Molina appears in 2 films from Richard Donner which are this film and Maverick. He plays the bad guy in both films and gets killed by Mel Gibson and Michelle pfeiffer.

Let’s get into a little bit of the technical aspects on the film…

Three of the castles used for the film were owned by Italian film director Luchino Viscontiand his family.

The breed of horse that Navarre rides is a Friesian stallion that originated in the Netherlands, Rutger Hauer's native country. The breed was popular among medieval knights. The most prominently used horse was a 19 year old stallion called Othello.

The hawk featured in the movie went under the name Spike II and worked in the Universal Bird Show until 2000 when she was transfered to the National Audubon society and became an Audubon Ambassador until she died in May 2007. Several different hawks were used. One to sit on Rutger Hauer's arm and another for the flying scenes. A third proved to be mostly unusable, as it enjoyed Hauers company so much that it would ruffle it feathers when seated on his arm, making it look more like a chicken than a stately hawk.

Four Siberian wolves were imported from California to portray the lupine alter-ego persona of Captain Etienne Nava</itunes:summary>

Hello, I am Randy Andrews and today I’ve got a special treat for you all. I’ve got Chris Karnes from Bat Books for Beginners on with me as we talk about the comic property of The Bat Murderer by DC Comics. But before that happens, I’ve got an interview with Alexander Schiebel. I’ll discuss with him his music career, his inspiration, background and a Brand New Soundtrack Alley Intro. It’s all today and it starts NOW!
Play Soundtrack Alley Intro
So today I’ve got Chris Karnes with me as we talk about The Bat Murderer, but before we start talking about that comic. I’ve got the special interview with Alexander Schiebel. I’ll discuss with him about his composing career, his influences and other projects he’s worked on, also we’ll talk about how he came to the completion of Soundtrack Alley’s New Theme.
So without further ado; here is the interview…
Play interview.

1. What started your career in composing?
- took piano lessons at 6
- watched Horner's "Krull" in cinema
- played film and TV themes and video game music by ear
- stopped studying piano at 14 in favor of playing with synthesizer workstations
SUGGESTED MUSIC SNIPPET: early arrangement of "Defender of the Crown"

2. What has influenced you the most or even a minor inspiration (such as Krull)?
- generally growing up in the 1980's watching all those movies that are considered classics today and listening "first hand" to those scores
- knowing those films in and out and also how composers approached different scenes

3. Who is your favorite composer?
- Dead: Jerry Goldsmith. Took crap films and turned them into okay ones with his music. And he always added beauty and elegance to the films he scored.
- My music always has references to Goldsmith.
SUGGESTED MUSIC SNIPPET: Confrontation at the Zoo (from Bat-Murderer)
- Alive: top 3: Henry Jackman (underestimated theme writer), Alexandre Desplat (controls the orchestra like an instrument), Cris Velasco (well-structured, clear compositions with big, fat sound and yet old-school elements at the core)

4. How did you arrive at the sound for The Bat-Murderer? Explain.
- Batman is period piece -> elements associated with 1960-1980
- Crime story -> Bernard Herrmann, chromaticism’s, well-placed dissonance
- Predominant instruments = brass, particularly trombones + a synthesizer for dialogue and "new lead" scenes
SUGGESTED MUSIC SNIPPET: Alfred's News and Enter the Creeper (from Bat-Murderer)
- Theme comes late (when Batman reveals himself during the Gala robbery) and is used sparingly - no superhero story!
SUGGESTED MUSIC SNIPPET: Escape (from Bat-Murderer)

5. If you had a dream job to compose for a major film or TV from the past or present, what would it be and why?
- Past: Ladyhawke. All there: fantasy, adventure, love. What symphonic scoring would bring to the movie.
- Present/more realistic: a Telltale adventure, working hand in hand with Jared Emerson-Johnson

6. What collaborations stand out to you with people you've worked with?
- Generally: working sample-based = little interaction with real people
- in 2004 I worked for singer/songwriter Julia Warner to arrange her songs -> huge fun, completely new challenges, expanding my musical horizons, creating beats, riffs and all kind of things not really related to orchestral film music writing

7. You've done some scoring for RPG's and gaming, what have you enjoyed most about doing that type of composing?
- I did 1 Role-playing game music for a game called Araclia which is a pen & paper-RPG.
- Music is supposed to enhance moods and things the game master creates through his or her narration.
- Compilation of 27 short cues,</itunes:summary>

 <itunes:summary>The NeverEnding Story (1984)

Hello, I am Randy Andrews and today I’ll be talking about The Neverending Story from 1983. I’ll discuss the cast, the background, the effects and of course the soundtrack. All today on Soundtrack Alley!

Today I’ll be getting us into The Neverending Story. First lets talk a little bit about the cast…

Play Clip

Noah Hathaway was hurt twice during the making of the movie. During his horse riding training he was thrown off a horse which then stepped on him. Then during the shooting of the drowning sequence in the "swamp of sadness" his leg got caught on the elevator and he was pulled under water. He was unconscious by the time he was brought to the surface.

Noah Hathaway almost lost an eye during the fight-scene versus Gmork. One of the claws on his giant paws poked him in the face. The robot was also so heavy that he lost his breath as well when he was hit to the ground by it. They only made one shot due to the risk that he would get seriously wounded.

The Night Hob says a profanity in the opening scene where the Rockbiter appears running down all in its path. This profanity is often dubbed over by the grumble of the Rockbiter's scooter, so that it can be shown as a children's film.

The film itself actually "ends" about halfway through the book.

Was the most expensive film ever produced in Germany at the time it was made.

You can "ride" on Falcor's back on location at the Bavaria Filmplatz Munich, Germany.

According to the book, the name that Bastian screams almost indecipherably into the night is "Moonchild", but it has often been debated what Barret Oliver actually says.

Noah Hathaway (Atreyu) now owns and operates a tattoo parlor in Los Angeles, California with his wife.

The original Auryn for this film now hangs in an enclosed glass display in Steven Spielberg's office.

Author Michael Ende decided that he was unhappy with the film's version of his story, and refused to have his name placed in the opening credits. A small credit appears at the end with his name. He also asked if the movie title would be changed or cancelled. After the studio declined both options, he filed a lawsuit and ultimately lost.

The makeup team on the movie tried to paint Noah Hathaway green, just as Atreyu is in the book. "It wasn't believable. I looked like fungi!" Hathaway said.

Tami Stronach lost both front teeth shortly before filming and they made her fake teeth which caused her to lisp until she learned to compensate for them.

Tami Stronach was attending theatre classes in San Francisco when she got the audition to be The Childlike Empress. Her acting teacher was friends with the production executive and talent scout Anna Gross. Tami initially believed she was auditioning for a little play and had no idea it was to be for a major motion picture.

Falkor is actually a 43-foot long motorized creature with 6,000 plastic scales and pink feather-fur. His head his three feet tall and long, and has a long tongue in the mouth.

Most of the film was shot in Germany in the summer of 1983. It was Germany's hottest summer in 25 years.

At the time of its release it was the most expensive film produced outside the United States and the Soviet Union.

According to the filmmakers, the rolling storm clouds were not meant to actually be The Nothing, but rather an indication of its presence, as The Nothing is an invisible force.

<itunes:summary>Here are the questions from the Interview...
Tim Wynn Composer Interview
It’s good to have you on my show.
How did you begin composing for video games and film?
Tell me about your experiences studying under Elmer Bernstein, Christopher Young, and Jerry Goldsmith?
At USC you became acquainted with Christopher Lennertz, in working with him as a business partner how has that helped your career?
In some research, I made note that you composed for Roger Corman Productions, tell me about that experience?
When writing music for current video games such as XCOM 2: The War of the Chosen, what do you mean when you talk about analog orchestral sounds?
Do you look at the story of the games you compose for first before thinking about what music you will write or do you get a chance to see the game in action before composing some of the music?
I see you were nominated five times for the G.A.N.G. awards and also you won OSV’s Best in Game Soundtrack in 2012. Tell me about that and what have you learned since then?
Do you find it easier to compose with a large orchestra or a small one?
If you had a dream job of composing for a large production for film or television of the past or present what would it be and why?
Do you ever use unusual instruments to bring across a crisp fresh sound to your scores?
What do you find easier, writing for film or video game?
Are you currently working on any new projects that you can tell me about?
What did you find most engaging about having a regular gig with the Show Supernatural?
Do you have any independent projects in the works?
Where can people find you, Tim?
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to be interviewed. Have a pleasant day.
Also added are some of the score music for XCOM 2 as well as Command and Conquer 3. Happy Listening!</itunes:summary>

Today is a special episode of Soundtrack Alley. The Podcast Arcade Network Partnered with the Organization YouTurn to raise money for programs to get kids off the streets. My episode contributed by having Billy Peck, Joshua Howell and Ali Gambino on for talking about the 1979 movie The Warriors. It’s a Special Episode so it airs today instead of the usual Friday lineup. Don’t worry though, Friday will be a brand new episode on Pirates of the Caribbean!

So I hope you enjoy this, it was a live episode so the sound takes some time to get used to. Happy Listening!
