Full bodied but with a crispy acidity and a very intense & long lasting bouquet of honey, dried apricots, raisins, orange peel and ground cinnamon.


This dark color is also the reason why Mavroudi is used mostly in the production of dark red wines, though they remain rare. Ideal on top of toffee, hazelnut or yogurt ice cream, or with a dessert such as cinnamon brulee, pistachio baclava or walnut & chocolate cake.
