Setup Major Divisions

Users of this tool are asked to identify which major division of the campus or medical center their department falls under (“reports upwards to”).   The user is offered a drop-down list of choices, and is allowed to select only one.

You, as administrator, should create and maintain that drop-down list. This screen allows you to do that.

This will be, essentially, a list of the top-level organizational units of your campus or medical center. Use your own judgment in making this list. The ideal list will be

Don´t worry if your list does not perfectly meet these criteria. Make it a list that is useful for your needs.

The drop-down list will be sorted alphabetically, so consistent naming will help it to be user-friendly.

To modify an existing item, first highlight that row on the grid then use the entry-forms at bottom to modify.
