The Assessment Summary Report shows student and class performance based on assessments in the selected subject for the school year period starting July 1 to the current date.
The default time period for reports is All Dates. You can select other time periods, including the current school year or a customized date range, using the Customize This Report option.
To open the Assessment Summary Report:
In the banner, click the Reports tab, then click Assessment Report from the left-hand menu. The Assessment Summary Report opens.

Select the class and subject from the lists provided. The Assessment Summary Report updates to display the information associated with the selected class and subject.
To customize the report, click the Customize This Report button. A Customize Report dialog box appears.
Use the Product, Assessment Type(s), and/or Period lists to select options by which to customize the report.
Note that Period reflects the time period for which data is included in the report; the default Period is All Dates.
All Dates includes all data that exists for the selected class; if your class names change each school term, the All Dates period allows you to see all the data for the term period of the selected class.
School Year includes data from the current school year. School years in Heinemann Flight run from July 1 to June 30.
Custom date range allows you to set your own time period by entering the From Date and the To Date.

School year to date includes data from the current school year from July 1 to June 30.
Click Apply. The Assessment Summary Report updates to reflect your newly selected report options.
Print or export the report. (See Print or Export (CSV) Assessment Reports for details.)
To view a report for a specific assessment:
In the Assessment Average graph, click the bar representing the assessment to view summary information, and then click the See Assessment Report button. |

In the Assessment Performance table, find the assessment in the table, and then click See Report. |

The report for the selected assessment appears.

Note that the selected assessment report consists of the following sections:
Assessment Proficiency
Assessment Proficiency displays cumulative score levels for students assigned to the assessment.

To view assessment proficiency information, click a score level to view individual student scores for the assessment.
Item Analysis
Item Analysis lists the average score per items and allows you to view the item. To review assessment items, click the Item # link.

A dialog box appears and displays the item question and answer(s).
Assessed Standards
Assessed Standards displays the standards associated with the selected assessment and allows you to view the items align with each standard.
To review the items that align to a standard, click a Standards link. A dialog box appears listing the items that align to the standard and showing the number of students that answered the item correctly and the number that answered it incorrectly.
To customize the standard set that is used on this report, clicking the Customize link. A Customize Standards Set dialog box appears.
Select a different standard set and standard grade level from the lists provided and then click Apply. The report updates to show the assessment items that align to the newly selected standard set.
Assessment Performance
Assessment Performance displays cumulative and individual scores for each item in the assessment. The table shows the following data:

Student: student name
Score: assessment score
Time Spent: time needed to complete the assessment
Item #: assessment items (displays the standard aligned with the item, possible point value, and the points achieved for each student).
Click the Back to Assessment Report link at the top of the page to return to the cumulative Assessment Summary Report.
