When you are working in a Classcraft session, you can access the Student Picker to randomly select students.
Instructions for using the Student Picker are provided below.
1. In the left menu bar of the Classroom Panel or the Teacher Panel, click the Tools link to open the Tools menu bar and view the list of available tools.

2. In the Tools menu, click Student Picker. A Student Picker dialog box appears.

3. In the Student Picker dialog box, click the Pick Random Student button to select a student to present. The name of the selected student appears in the dialog box.
If students are logged into the session, then the Student Picker selects only students who have joined. If students are not participating via their Student Panels, then the Student Picker selects from the roster for the class. In the Teacher Panel, teachers have options to mix both of these lists.

4. If necessary, select how the Student Picker displays using the options in the top pink menu bar, as follows:
– Move the Student Picker to any location on the page by clicking and dragging the dialog box.
– Maximize
the Student Picker by clicking the arrows pointing outward
in the dialog box. The Student
Picker expands and displays as the entire screen. At any time, you can
click the arrows in the upper right corner to minimize it.
– Minimize
the Student Picker by clicking the arrows pointing inward
. The Student Picker appears
as a box in the bottom right corner of your Classroom Panel as shown below.
At any time, you can click the box to expand it.
