Title: Finding a Good Dropshipper

Hello,

There are thousands of reputable companies that offer
dropshipping, so it can be tricky to wade through them all
to find the best ones.

Today we are going to take a look at some ways to make sure
any company you are thinking of working with is the right
one.

First, find out of they require a minimum order. Some
companies do have a minimum order to qualify for wholesale
pricing - usually between $100 and $500. You probably
won’t want to require your customers to purchase so much
at one time, so how can you get around this?

The best solution is to put some pre-paid funds into your
account with the supplier, usually equal to their minimum
order, as a way to commit to buying their minimum order
in the beginning. Some companies will allow this, and it
will give you a way around that minimum order. Once the
funds are in your account, you can simply order as normal
when your customers place their orders.

Make sure they have a good website, as the majority of
good suppliers these days will have a site that is well
designed and user friendly. A terrible website that looks
like it was designed in the 90s is a pretty good indicator
that the rest of their operations will be behind the times,
as well. You may find the occasional rare gem amongst those
that have awful websites, but it’s definitely a warning sign.

Find out if they can take orders by email. It’s often
faster to handle things through email rather than through a
website, and this is one indicator that the company cares
about its distributors.

If you’re in the United States, try to find a supplier that
is located in the middle of the country. If you have a
supplier that is on the east or west coast, it will take
longer to ship to the other coast, but if the company is
shipping from a central location, it will take less time to
ship to anywhere in the country.

In the end, the only way to really make sure is by testing
the company with a few orders. A good way to do this is to
add a handful of their products to your website and offer
limited quantities of each item. This way, you can test
them out with a small batch of orders without committing
and without risking a lot of problems across many orders.
