Title: Increase Sales With Push Notifications

Hello,

I hope you’re enjoying our lessons on push notifications
so far. Today’s lesson is huge. We’re going to take a look
at some ways to use push notifications to increase sales!

These are especially useful if you have an online shop,
but you can also use these to promote affiliate products,
too!

Limited Time Offers

Any type of offer that is available for a limited time is
perfect to push through these notifications. Sales,
coupon codes, bonus offers, free shipping — the variations
are endless.

But using push notifications will let you reach users
faster and easier than pretty much any other way, because
they go straight to the user even if they aren’t on your
website or even checking their email! They only have to be
using their web browser!

Upsells and Cross-Sells

There are endless ways to use push notifications to sell
more products by using upsetting, cross promotions, and
offering similar products.

For example, let’s say someone views a product on your
website and doesn’t buy it. You can offer them a discount
for a limited time if they buy within 24 hours, for example.

Or let’s say they do buy it, you could recommend a product
that complements the one they bought.

Or let’s say they’ve shown an interest in a particular
type of product, but they don’t buy. You can lead them to
similar products that they might prefer instead.

These are just a few ways you can use push notifications
to increase your sales!

Cart Reminders

You can also use push notifications to remind people that
they have items in their shopping cart that they have
not paid for, which will often spur them to return and
place the order they abandoned.

There are all sorts of reasons someone might not buy
at the time they put items in their cart. They may have
needed time to think about what they want to buy. They may
have wanted time to shop around and compare prices. They
may not have had the money at the time.

Using push notifications can recapture those people who
may have otherwise forgotten to return and finish their
order!

Bonus Incentives

Got a particularly stubborn customer that just doesn’t want
to buy? Let them know that if they buy now, they can get
some kind of special incentive, such as a free product,
free shipping, or a fast shipping upgrade!

People love bonuses, and this is even a way to sell
affiliate products to stubborn visitors!

Those are just some examples of ways to use push notifications
to increase your sales. I’m sure you can think of many more!

Tomorrow we are going to talk about some tactics you can
use to write the best, most effective push notification
copy possible.

Stay tuned!

Until then,
