Title: Advanced JV/Affiliate Tips

Hello,

So far we’ve covered how to contact potential JV partners
and affiliates, how to set up a good funnel, and how to make
affiliates happy.

But there are still some things you can do to attract more
affiliates and JV partners.

The first suggestion I have is to stop concentrating solely
on super affiliates and realize that smaller affiliates can
sometimes send just as many sales combined as the larger
affiliates. A hundred affiliates sending 2 sales a day
could send more sales than one affiliate sending 100 sales
a day. Twice as many, in fact. So if you can get a large
number of smaller affiliates, you can potentially get more
sales than a handful of larger affiliates.

Don’t forget smaller affiliates in your contests, either.

For example, you could have a separate contest JUST for
people who send at least one sale but fewer than 100.

This encourages smaller affiliates to go out of their way
to send sales, even though they know they don’t have a
chance at winning one of the prizes for sending the most
sales.

Plus, by being good to smaller affiliates, you build a good
relationship with people who may be the next super affiliates!
That’s always a bonus!

Another important tip is to include your JV partners in
your promotional process as much as possible. For example,
giving them promotional material that is unique to them,
such as reports that are already branded with their affiliate
links that they can give their subscribers, or inviting them
to do a webinar with you, will help them feel more like a
part of the process and they’ll work harder to promote you.

One easy way to get more affiliates to say YES is to offer
a 100% commission. We touched on this in a previous lesson,
but this can be a really good way to attract affiliates.

You may be wondering how you can make any money by offering
100% commissions, but what you give up now will benefit
you in the future because you’ll build a list of all those
buyers that you can promote future products to.

Plus, as you build a larger list, you’ll find more JV
partners who are willing to swap lists with you, meaning
you promote their products to your list, and they promote
yours to their lists.

If you still want to make some money, you can offer 100% of
the price of the main product, and a smaller percentage of
the upsells.

This concludes our series on getting affiliates and JV
partners for your launch. Look for training on other topics
