Title: Providing Promotional Materials For Affiliates

Hello,

A lot of people think they don’t need to provide promotional
materials for affiliates anymore, but the fact is a lot of
people DO still use them.

Banners? Yep. Some people still have a lot of blog traffic 
and do use banners. Plus, banners are great for branding, 
because the more often people see a banner for your product
on different sites, the more likely they are to remember it
and trust it.

PLR articles? Absolutely. People still use PLR as a basis 
for their own content, and it makes it a lot easier to 
promote your product, especially if each article is geared
toward subtle promotion of it.

Emails. Definitely! This is probably THE most important
thing you should provide. 

See, only YOU know your product inside and out. Only YOU
can properly write a great promotional email for the product.

If you depend on affiliates to write their own emails, they
may miss VERY important benefits and features that would 
entice people into clicking and/or buying. They just don’t
know enough about the product, even if they’ve checked it 
out properly, to easily be able to describe it.

But if YOU write the emails, you can be sure to include all
of the most important information about your product.

Many affiliates will rewrite the email in order to lend their
own unique voice to it, but the foundation will be there
so they have everything they need.

If you don’t provide promo materials, one of two things will
happen:

* Affiliates will decide NOT to promote you, because making
their own material would be too time-consuming.

OR

* They will promote you, but their emails will be short and 
generic, and probably won’t be NEARLY as effective as they
would be if they were written by you.

I know it will be extra work, but trust me, providing various
promotional materials IS worth it.

If nothing else, be sure to include at least 2-3 sample
emails people can use. This will save them a lot of time,
and will be more effective than just letting them craft
their own.
