Title: Pre-Launch Strategies For Finding Partners

Hello,

One of the biggest reasons product launches fail to do well
is the failure to put enough time and energy into the
pre-launch phase.

They get overly eager to launch, and they cut the pre-launch
phase short, or even eliminating it entirely.

I can understand how exciting it is to launch a product,
and you obviously want to launch it as quickly as you can
and start making money with it as quickly as possible.

But when you cut the pre-launch stage short, you’ll be cutting
your profits short, as well.

So why is pre-launch such a big deal? There are actually
several reason. Let’s take a look at a few of the biggest
ones.

* Affiliates and JV partners have promotional schedules, and
they cannot easily work something in on short notice. If they
send promos too often, they will lose subscribers, so they
have a schedule for a reason. They need plenty of notice.

* A lot of your most effective promo happens during pre-launch.
Stuff likes webinars, pre-launch emails, etc. Those are all
typically done during pre-launch, and are all very affective.

* Anticipation is one of the best ways to increase sales,
and if you skip pre-launch, you miss out on all that buzz.

* Having a pre-launch phase gives you time to test your
sales page and sales funnel in order to make sure the conversions
are the best they can be BEFORE launch.

* A pre-launch phase gives you a chance to announce a special,
limited-time price in time for people to save up for it,
and if you don’t do that, you won’t be able to get sales from
people who were not expecting your launch. And they might not
buy at all if they miss the introductory price.

These are just a few reasons you should have a pre-launch
process.

The main thing, though, is that affiliates and JV partners
will need that time to schedule your launch into their promo
calendars and to work on their own promotional materials, such
as the email they send their subscribers.

It will be incredibly difficult to get people to promote your
product if you don’t give them advanced notice, and if you
don’t let them in on the pre-launch process such as webinars
and such.

Tomorrow, we’re going to take a look at how to set up your
sales funnel to make more money AND make affiliates happy!
