Title: Final tips and strategies

Hi there!

This is the final email in our series and I want
to end it with a few extra tips and strategies that
I believe will help you turn those visitors into leads.

Define Your Blog’s Objective:

You first need to determine the purpose of your blog.
Yes, I know, you want to make money, but that’s not enough.

What I mean is you have to decide whether your blog
is a place to build authority in order to sell your own
products, whether your blog is going to focus on selling
other people’s products or if your blog is simply a lead
generation machine so that you can build a massive mailing
list of qualified leads.

Or, if your blog is all of these things.

Then, you need to make sure that every page on your blog
has a clear objective. This will reduce confusion and clutter
and keep your visitors focused on what you want them
to pay attention to.

Engage first, sell later.

Build rapport with your audience and don’t even think about
monetizing your website until you have created at least 4-5
pillar posts (informative content that your visitors are craving!).

Set yourself up for success from the get-go by focusing
on delivering extraordinary value in the form of informative,
solid and original content not found anywhere else.

If you aren’t a writer or an expert in your industry, outsource
it to someone who is. You can find many qualified freelancers
on websites like www.UpWork.com

Network and Share

Don’t try to keep your traffic all to yourself. The more you share,
the greater your networking platform will be. Focus on the leaders
in your market and share links to their content, promote them,
offer them a guest blogging spot once your traffic grows.

Look for game-changers any your niche and model your blog platform
after theirs. Don’t copy! Emulate. Look for ways to create similar
content, but offer a different angle or perspective. Look at the
articles with a high number of comments and interaction and see
whether there are people asking repetitive questions. If so, answer
them on your blog with your own unique articles.

Take advantage of social proof

This can include partnerships with other websites, case studies,
product reviews and guest blogging spots that you have taken
part of on leading blogs and websites. Guest blogging is an
exceptionally powerful way to build authority in your niche
market while generating traffic from existing websites.

Look for products that shine

When monetizing your website or via your newsletter, be careful
with the products you promote. Always have your customer’s best
interest in mind and do your research before promoting a product
or service to ensure that the developer is available for support.

Consider testing or reviewing the product yourself. Not only will
this make it easier for you to sell the product (because you have
personal knowledge of it), but it will lend credibility to your
review since you have put your own money or time on the line in
order to evaluate it for your subscribers!

And above all else, keep on keeping on.

Don’t give up. Most new bloggers will abandon ship after three
months but you need to keep moving forward and stay focused. If you
do, I have no doubt that you will succeed.

All my best,
