Title:  Leaving no stone unturned.

I know, it’s a rather funny title for an email
about converting visitors into leads, right?

But, trust me, it’s going somewhere.

When I talk about leaving no stone unturned, I’m
referring to the importance of turning your entire
blog into lead generation system.

Most bloggers (if you look closely) only focus on 
one or two ways of building their list and converting
visitors into leads.

In fact, many of them only have the one opt-in form
or landing page on their website.

I don’t understand this.  

Why wouldn’t you turn every corner of your website,
(leaving no stone unturned!) into a lead generation
machine that actively converts incoming traffic into
qualified leads?

How do you do this?

It requires building a system that leads visitors 
into your marketing system no matter what step they take.

If they are reading content on your blog, you should have
an opt-in form available, or a graphic that links to an 
opt-in form below every article on your website.

If they are watching a video, you should embed a call to
action at the end of the video that leads your visitor 
into watching another video, and then finally, to opt into
your newsletter.

No matter what, you should be the one in control of where
you are directing your visitor so that in the end, they 
end up on the other side of your marketing system.

Makes sense, right?

Analyze your blog, and look for ways that you can create
a better user flow that will guide visitors into subscribing
to your newsletter or taking an otherwise positive action
within your marketing system.

Consider grabbing a copy of OptinMonster.com and creating
pop up opt-in forms based on visitor interaction (where they
are on your page, whether they’ve been there before, etc) and
maximize that traffic!
