Title: Content for Membership Sites

Hello,

Content is king. You’ve probably heard that before in relation to
SEO sites, blogs, etc. But it’s also true for membership sites.

There are several ways to get content for your membership site.

1. You can create it yourself.
2. You can pay someone else to create it.
4. You can have your members create the content for you.

Creating yourself is a good option if you have the ability, because
it won’t cost you anything but time. If you know the niche well
enough to feel confident creating your own content, this is
probably the best option for creating ongoing, quality content.

Outsourcing the content is a good option if you don’t have the
time or ability to create your own content. It will cost a
significant amount of money to get very high-quality content
created for you, but it’s worth the expense of hiring only the
best content creators.

And yes, you can actually have your members create all or part of
your content for you—for free.

The easiest way to do this is by creating a forum inside your
members area, which you can do with a WordPress plugin such as
BBPress or BuddyPress.

The major drawback to this method is you need a large number of
users posting regularly to make the forum worth it for members,
but without existing content, it can be difficult to get and
keep members.

The best way around this is to either create some initial forum
content yourself, hire others to do it for you, or offer free
memberships to the first 25 to 100 people to join in order to
get that initial content created.

This could be a great way to drum up initial buzz for your site.
You can visit popular forums and Facebook groups in your niche,
and offer people a lifetime membership if they will help get the
site started with posts in the forum.

Tomorrow we’re going to talk about payments and pricing, so you
definitely don’t want to miss it!

Until then,
