Title: Membership Site Software

Hello,

There are lots of options out there that can help you set up
and run a membership site, but only one has the ease of use
and wide support that make it the clear choice.

WordPress.

Yes, WordPress has a basic membership function built into it,
but you don’t want to use that as the basis for a paid
membership site.

While people can register as “members” of any WordPress site
that allows it, there’s no way to take payment, manage
recurring payments, remove access for people who’s payment
method was declined, and deliver content securely to those
paid members.

So while you may want to use WordPress as the foundation for
your site, you’ll still need some sort of plugin to handle
those important functions.

There are many different options available, but two that
you will probably want to consider are:

MemberPress
>> http://www.MemberPress.com

s2Member
>> http://www.s2member.com

MemberPress is probably the most well-known membership software
for WordPress, but it’s relatively pricey. The number of
options available makes it well worth the price, but you may
not have that kind of money when you’re just getting started.

In that case, s2Member might be the better option. They have
a free version that has a limited number of features, but should
work fine for most membership sites, at least in the beginning.

The upgraded version has most of the features of MemberPress,
but at a lower price. So if you decide to upgrade from the free
version later, you’ll still be using the same platform, just
with additional features unlocked.

In tomorrow’s email, we’re going to talk about content. If
you don’t have content, you don’t have a membership site!

Don’t miss it!

Until then,

PS- Content is one of the most important aspects of your
membership site, so be sure to look for the next email.
