Title: Creating Stellar Products

Hello,

You probably already know how important it is to create the
best product possible, but do you REALLY understand what this
means?

I’ve seen a lot of people put out a 20-page eBook, price it
at $97, and justify it by saying, “But the information in the
eBook is priceless!”

Okay, fine, maybe it is. More than likely it isn’t, but even
if it is, do you think your average buyer will think they
have received $97 worth of value in a report that took less
than a day to write?

Perceived value is EVERYTHING when you don’t have a reputation
yet. Maybe that product with 600 pages of guides, 20 hours of
audio, and 10 hours of video will teach someone less useful
information than that 20-page report, but if both products are
priced the same, the average customer is going to feel like they
got a better value from the larger package.

So what if you could present the same information in 20 pages?

SO WHAT?

Unless you have the most incredible, revolutionary, unknown
information out there (in which case WHY would you be sharing
it for $97 instead of charging thousands for it or keeping
it to yourself?) then affiliates are NOT going to want to
promote a 20-page eBook.

Not only do you need to be conscious of ACTUAL value as well
as PERCEIVED value, but you need to make sure you have a good
upsell system, too.

Your affiliates will love to see additional opportunities to
make money, so it’s a good idea to have at LEAST one upsell,
and ideally two or more, so that you and your partners make
the most possible money.

But don’t make the mistake of holding back content just to
make sure you have an upsell. NEVER hold back important
content from the main product.

Instead, focus on providing ADDED value, such as products
that add to the main product, or make the main product
easier to use. Make sure it’s different enough from the
main product that buyers won’t feel ripped off that the
upsell was not included in the main product.

Be sure to offer your affiliates and partners a commission
on any upsells in addition to the main product. This will
get a lot more people to promote you.

Tomorrow is our final email, and we’re going to talk about
the types of promotional material you should be providing
for your partners.

Until then,

for affiliates, you are WRONG! Find out why tomorrow!
