Title: Finding Affiliates And JV Partners

If you’re relatively new to marketing, you may feel like it
is hopeless to even think of attracting affiliates and JV
partners. After all, why would they promote you when they
know nothing about you? You could be a scammer for all they
know, right?

Well, the fact is affiliates—even super affiliates—are 
people just like you and me. They also started from zero, 
with no list and no reputation, just like you and me.

Sure, it can be difficult to get them to pay attention to 
you when they don’t know who you are, but there are some
tricks you can use to overcome that.

One of the easiest ways will cost you a little money if 
you don’t already have a list, but it will be well worth it
in the long run.

The quickest way to grab the attention of a potential JV
partner is to promote THEIR product and end up winning one
of their affiliate contests. This won’t be easy, but if you
manage to pull it off you will have an easy way to contact
them and to let them know you’re serious and you know what
you’re doing.

Think you can’t pull that off? 

Then you need to have a really stellar product and you need
to build the heck out of anticipation so that other people
start talking about the product. This will get the attention
of the right people, because THEIR customers will be 
talking about YOUR product. They’ll want to know why!

This means creating an amazing product that goes far
beyond everything else on the market, and also creating a 
really awesome pre-launch strategy that will not only 
grab the attention of potential customers but also potential
partners long before your launch.

You also need to be sure you’re offering excellent compensation
to your affiliates, as well as other benefits such as list
swaps if you have a list, bonuses, contests, etc. If you
don’t have a reputation yet, it’s extremely important to 
draw those partners in with great compensation and bonuses.

Not only that, you need to make sure they have the support
and the materials they need to succeed.

Finding JV partners will be pretty much impossible if you 
don’t have a stellar product and stellar promotional 
materials, so over our last two emails, we’re going to look
at those two issues.
