Title: Pre-Launch Strategies That Work

Hello,

The pre-launch stage is, in many ways, more important to
sales than the launch itself.

Think I’m exaggerating?

Think again!

Think of your favorite holiday meal. Is it Thanksgiving?
Christmas? Easter? The Fourth of July? Hanukkah? Whatever
your very favorite holiday meal is… think of what it’s like
when you finally sit down to eat after smelling it cooking,
hearing the sounds of bubbling and sizzling food, maybe
stealing a tiny taste here and there.

Would it be the same if you just walked in with the meal
already plated and sat down to eat? Probably not.

All that anticipation builds your hunger for hours and
hours until that magical moment when you finally get to
eat, and it’s so much more satisfying than just grabbing a
plate and eating.

If you celebrate Christmas, think about the anticipation
building up to Christmas morning when you were a child. In
many ways, all that anticipation made the day that much more
special. It wouldn’t have been as awesome if you just woke
up one day to a tree and gifts in the living room. You would
have just been like, “What the heck is all this?”

Anticipation is critical, especially when you want someone
to buy something. Without it, your conversions are not
going to be as spectacular as they could be if you just
launched one day.

Your pre-launch strategy will vary based on your particular
product, but generally it should include:

* Having affiliates/JV partners email their lists about your
upcoming launch at least a week or two in advance

* Webinars that teach some vital information from the product
and build anticipation

* Reports and guides that can be distributed via your list
and by affiliates and JV partners

Everything you should distribute should build anticipation
for the product, and it should be valuable information. Never,
ever release anything that is purely promotional. Potential
buyers will not enjoy wasting their time on a webinar that is
nothing but a big advertisement.

Tomorrow we’re going to talk about ways to find those
affiliates and JV partners, and how you can get them to
say “yes” when you ask them to promote your product.

Until then,

PS- Think you can’t get affiliates and JV partners when
you’re just getting started? Think again? Tomorrow we will
go over some strategies for doing just that!
