Title: Features To Look For In A Dropshipper

Hello,

The first thing you should do before you decide on a
dropshipper is check for reviews.

Remember, EVERY company has a few bad reviews, so even the
occasional terrible review shouldn’t scare you off. There
are all kinds of reasons people could leave bad reviews on
a company. But if there are hundreds—or thousands of bad
reviews and very few good, you should definitely look
elsewhere.

Next, find out how long they have been in business. The
longer they’ve been around, the less likely it is the
company is a scam.

If a company has been in business for less than a year,
you will want to be cautious about dealing with them.

Perhaps you could add just a few products from them at
first, and make sure the first orders are delivered
properly before adding more.

You’ll always want to have a backup dropshipper or two
that offers the products you’re selling in case your
primary company runs out of stock or experiences issues,
but this is especially true if you’re working with a
newer dropshipper.

You will also want to find out who some of their clients are,
if possible. If they have reputable customer, it’s a good
indicator that they are a good company to work with.

Also, you’ll want to know if they have integration with
popular shopping cart systems. This is a very important
feature, because it will allow your system to reject orders
for products that are out of stock instead of having the
embarrassment of taking the order and then having to
issue a refund and an apology to your customer.

Many dropshippers do integrate with popular shopping cart
systems, and although it doesn’t have to be a deal breaker,
it is a feature you will want to have if at all possible.

You’ll also want to find out which payment methods they
accept so you’ll be sure to be able to pay immediately
when one of your customers orders.

Also, find out if they do net-30 terms, which means you
can pay for orders 30 days after placing them instead of
immediately. This can help you save your startup capital
in the beginning for marketing expenses.

Tomorrow is our last lesson, and we’re going to get
right into the best ways to find legitimate dropshippers,
so don’t miss it!

Until then,
