ADM 4.1 continues ASUSTOR’s commitment to security by continuing to introduce better and more robust security measures.

Ransomware affects all devices. ASUSTOR continues to strengthen data security to protect your data.Enable HTTP Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to improve security. In addition to fixing security issues, CSP adds defense mechanisms to identify abnormal behavior that may indicate the presence of ransomware and/or malware. Dr. ASUSTOR’s Health Report helps make securing your NAS easy and provides guidelines you can follow to help protect your data.

In order to make your ASUSTOR NAS easier to use, we have added DNS Challenge support to the myasustor.com DDNS. ADM 4.1 also provides improvements to Samba to provide better network speeds and network fault tolerance. The improved Web Center in ADM 4.1 makes finding appropriate tools for setting up your own website or web server easy.

ADM 3 Retirement Announcement
ADM 3.5 is the last major version for the AS-20, AS-30 and AS-60 series of NAS devices and will no longer receive security and feature updates as of 1 September 2022. You must replace your NAS with a newer model to get the latest updates. It is no longer recommended to expose unsupported NAS devices to the Internet. If using a NAS that still receives support, it is recommended to update to the latest version of ADM. ASUSTOR always recommends keeping up to date backups regardless of whether or not an unsupported NAS is used.
