Several years ago, I become fascinated by Victorian cabinet desks. Although I do like these desks, they are impractical for housing a computer. A decade ago I adapted a purchased secretary desk to incorporate the benefits of both a Cabinet Secretary desk somewhat like the Moore Office Queen and the Davenport style writing desk which also has a space for a built in flat panel monitor.
