Set Asset Tracking Only as the default Installation Template

The Asset Tracking Only template may be set as the default for new installs. Please be aware that during a manual installation, the user can change the template and add Checks as well as their frequency. In these cases the device is no longer regarding as Asset Tracking Only.

1. Log into the Dashboard
2. Go to Settings
3. Monitoring Templates
4. New Device Installation Settings
5. Select the Entity in the left tree (all Servers or Workstations down to individual Clients and Sites)
6. Change Setting to On
7. Choose Asset Tracking Only (no template) from the Server Default or Workstation Default drop-down
8. Ensure Run check detection scan is unticked
9. OK to save and apply
