Altaro Hyper-V Backup

The Altaro Hyper-V Backup Check queries the Windows Application Event Log on the local device to determine the status of any backups that have completed in the preceding 24 hour period.

We check the following Event IDs to ascertain the success or otherwise of the backup jobs.

Event ID	Details
5000	Successful Backup event
5001	Successful Backup with Warnings
5002	Failed Backup

The Backup Check passes where the specified number of Success or Complete with exceptions (where Show 'complete with exceptions' as successful is configured) messages are discovered.
