Allow pop-ups for Autotask

Autotask tickets open in a pop-up window and to ensure these are not blocked by your browser or ad-blocking software, we would suggest allowing pop-ups from the Autotask domain.

How pop-ups are handled can depend on the browser. Some may display a message, others a blocked notification in the address bar which when clicked allow you to add an exception to the specific URL or website.

The following examples cover whitelisting a domain in the browser's settings menu.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click menu dashes ff_menu
  3. Go to Options > Privacy & Security > Permissions
  4. Click Exceptions against Block pop-upwindows
  5. Enter the Address and Allow
  6. Click Save Changes

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click menu dotsthree_dots
  3. Go to Settings > Advanced
  4. Under Privacy and security choose Content Settings
  5. Click the arrow against Popups
  6. Click Add against Allow
  7. Enter the Site
  8. Click Add
  9. Exit out of the Settings page

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click the Tools cog ie_cog
  3. Go to Internet options > Privacy
  4. Click Settings against Turn on Pop-up Blocker
  5. Enter the Address of website to allow
  6. Click Add
  7. Close then OK to save and exist out of the dialogs
