English Resources for Every Reader
LiteraryHub is a free online English language arts library serving students, ESL learners, and adult writers who want clear, structured lessons in grammar, composition, and literature.
Our catalog covers parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation, capitalization, verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, active and passive voice, figurative language, paragraph construction, the five-paragraph essay, research papers, and literary analysis of poetry, drama, and prose.
Lessons are sorted into four bands: emerging readers in K-2, fluent readers in 3-5, middle school writers in 6-8, and high school analysts in 9-12. Each band offers leveled reading passages with comprehension questions and guided writing prompts.
Dedicated tracks prepare students for the SAT Reading and Writing sections, ACT English, AP English Language, AP English Literature, TOEFL, IELTS, and state ELA assessments. Practice tests include rubric-scored sample essays.
Each unit opens with a short explainer video, followed by an annotated reading passage, ten interactive grammar drills, and a short written response that students can self-check against model answers. Vocabulary words enter a personal flashcard deck for spaced review.
Teachers can download printable worksheets, diagramming exercises, novel study guides, and rubrics aligned to Common Core ELA standards. Class dashboards show reading levels, words mastered, and time on task for every student.
