My CrossFit box recently started a new Paleo challenge and one of my CrossFit friends said she is already sick of eggs for breakfast, so her comment inspired this post.
If you’re tired of the same old egg breakfast or maybe you have an allergy or sensitivity to eggs, here are a bunch of eggless ideas for you! This might not be the most exciting breakfast, but a grilled turkey burger with some cooked veggies (and, ok, maybe some Ants on a Log) is a tasty meal. I originally whipped up this recipe as a single-serving dessert, but you could easily double (or triple) the recipe and eat it for breakfast. I still love eggs for breakfast, I bet you could do a whole other post just on the different ways to prepare and eat eggs.
Since developing a sensitivity to eggs and poultry, I’ve had trouble knowing just what to do about breakfast. Six days out of the week, my breakfast doesn’t meet the traditional preconception of breakfast food.
I know what you mean with a breakfast that doesn’t meet the traditional preconception of breakfast food, I usually have the same thing as you – the leftovers from lunch!


Breakfast is the hardest meal for me, so this is just excellent–thanks so much for including my recipe! I know the challenge of finding recipes to fit multiple food restrictions, so I hope this thorough list of egg free paleo recipes will provide welcome variety in your diet.
I intentionally omitted a Egg Free Paleo Main Dish section, since it’s much more difficult to find egg free paleo baked goods, breakfast ideas and desserts than main dishes.

A little disappointing that the first recipe I click on from this list of egg-free recipes calls for eggs in it!
My box is doing that paleo challenge too, and today I had a baked sweet potato (I made an extra last night while cooking dinner) with almond butter and it was incredible.
Occasionally I do want breakfast that resembles breakfast in some way and this post really helps those mornings. I have to admit, paleo has made my life with Hashimoto’s a little bit easier to bear.


Since I started eating healthier, breakfast has definitely been the hardest thing to change (besides pizza)! I’ve tried it multiple times, fresh eggs, old eggs, pastured eggs, conventional eggs etc. It’s so easy to make and there are a million different ingredient variations, so you can customize it to your tastes preferences.
Over the years, the diet name has changed from Protein Metabolic Type to Atkins Diet, Low Carb Diet, and now Caveman or Paleo Diet - but the benefits have remained.
