What is your breaking point : A look into finding your identity

It all stems down to one point, one attribution that determines who you are and what you do;

What is your breaking point?

What determines the end of something or the reach for another?

Where is your stoppage time and how far will you go for someone or something you desire?

This can be interpreted in many ways; Relationships, morals, societal, and psychological.

But the main focus today is Identity.

what is something that is intolerable to you, that would force you to change or break your identity?

It can be a person leaving you, a feeling you avoid, an outcome that you cannot solve, or a consequence that ends you.

But throughout this read keep in mind what that is.

Understanding your breaking point and what its effects can have on you is an important part of finding your self identity, true ambition, motivations, and hunger for achieving something greater; Something you desire.

Because understanding your breaking point is not just the understanding of how much pressure you can withstand; It is the understanding of what changes once it reached the core foundations of your identity.

Ask yourself, if something was so intolerable and effected your life, what would remain the same? what would change? how will it impact you?

and most importantly who do you become afterward?

Reaching points of breakage and cracks only shows yourself the truth. Who you really are when you are treated to your extremes in any part of your life. Your true motivations, ambitions, fears, and desires spread across; Vulnerable to you when you least expect it.

It’s something that happens rarely, but when it does take the time to reflect. Map your structure, your pains, your gains and everything in between because it is a chance; A chance where you can pick up and do better. A chance that you have learned you are farther then you were the last, a chance that you have larger better brighter in the future.

Do this.

Write out everything that haunts you; Write out what makes you feel a certain way; What forces you to stand away. Accept that you have these feelings and build knowledge against them. Whether it be related to love, work, life, and religion. Learn to care about what your tolerance is and how to grow past it; How to be stronger mentally if you had to face it right now.

Who are the people you deal with, problems you solve, and feelings you face? Learn them throughly and build a base; build research in their possible outcomes, its effects, and most importantly your gain/loss if it occurred.

Engineer your outcomes, master problem solving in all aspects of life, and stay risk aware; ready to conquer all situations presented.

That is how you grow. Find inspiration within yourself to keep going: A skill many tend to lose after their tolerance is reached. Learn to get past situations with a desire for greater, stronger, faster, and better. Learn to face problems with prior knowledge, to help you over issues that may cause you to stop and rethink.

Because ultimately time is priceless, and rethinking on current opportunity can become extremely costly in the future.

The next time you go and reach for something, push your limits, and go above and beyond for someone or something learn the motives and your breaking point behind it. Learn the real motives; The real gains and consequences.

Learn to find your breaking point and learn the outcome before it breaks you.
