Transaction Information
Syros Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SYRS), a leader in the development of medicines that control the expression of genes, has closed an underwritten public offering of 5,400,000 shares of common stock. The shares were sold at the public offering price of $14.00 per share, resulting in the gross proceeds to Syros Pharmaceuticals of approximately $75.6 million. Syros Pharmaceuticals intends to use the proceeds of the offering to fund the development of Syros’ ongoing clinical and preclinical programs, and for working capital and other general corporate purposes. In addition, Syros has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 810,000 shares of common stock.
