Most problems that you will encounter in the real world do not have "exact" answers. Often, you will have limits placed on you and those limits will require that you either estimate or approximate. These types of situations are represented using inequalities.
An inequality is a mathematical statement that includes limits outside of "equals" such as greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, or less than or equal to. Click each symbol to see its meaning and an example.
