Roller Coaster Design with Function Transformations: PBL in the Math Classroom

Description

This session will demonstrate how to teach a student-centered project-based learning unit. PBL is a way to teach students to be responsible for their own learning and encourages students to become problem solvers. Participants will walk away with a roller coaster design project that encourages student learning through productive struggle.
