Discovery through Productive Struggle: Fitting Polynomials to a Given Set of Points

How can we find a polynomial that passes through the points (2, 10), (5, 23), (17, –31), and (–1, –31)? Through guided discovery, participants will explore an approach to answer such a question. Participants will also consider what productive struggle entails, how to provide such struggles for students, and why it's critical for their learning.
