From Perceptions to Priorities: Empowering Girls in Mathematics
Description
What do we know about the gender achievement gap in math? How can we be intentional about supporting girls in math? What are our perceptions about girls in math? What should our priorities be for this? The presenters will address these critical questions and use classroom videos to develop a shared vision of teaching math that invites girls to think of themselves as mathematicians.
