Speaker will discuss how elementary mathematics teachers can adjust curriculum and instruction to have a more culturally responsible classroom. Using research and experience, the speaker will provide techniques that help promote culture in the mathematics classroom and will also provide problems and curriculum examples for participants to adjust.
