The Status Quo in High School Mathematics is Unacceptable
Description
For far too long high school mathematics has not worked for far too many students. Too many students are unsuccessful in math courses and our courses do not build the mathematical skills needed for many jobs. This session will build on NCTM's Catalyzing Change document while examining the research, discussing alternate pathways and math courses.
