Growth Mindset Mathematics Feedback

Description

We will analyze samples of feedback provided on student work and use those samples to develop an understanding of the types of feedback that may convey growth mindset (GM) messages to students, as well as create our own examples of GM feedback. We will conclude the workshop by exploring how teacher beliefs influence feedback provided to students.
