Developing Connections between Conceptual and Procedural Understanding

Description

Participants will engage in a sequence of mathematical tasks as learners that span conceptual understanding to procedural fluency. From a teaching perspective, we will discuss the general features of the task sequence and impact on student learning. We will finish with thinking about how the participants can design a similar sequence.
