Integrating Problem Solving through Lesson Facelifts

Description

Performing a lesson facelift is one way to change a lecture-driven lesson to a problem-based lesson that builds on students' interests and existing knowledge. Bring a previously-taught lesson that you want to improve. We'll help you learn how to "facelift" it using NCTM Mathematics Teaching Practices to challenge, engage and empower students.
