Untangling the Money Trajectory: Value-Counting and Problem Solving in Grades 1-5

Description

In many states' math frameworks, a coherent trajectory for money concepts is mysteriously missing. During this session, we'll playfully entertain the development of money concepts from conceptual understanding to fluency. Connections will be made to both whole-number and decimal place value.
