Identifying Equitable Mathematics Instruction
Description
Teachers must be willing to move beyond teaching mathematics from a Eurocentric viewpoint to implement equitable practices. But what does this look like in a mathematics classroom? Participants will discuss components of an equitable mathematics classroom and view video clips of mathematics instruction to ascertain equitable practices.
