Using Facebook to Extend Opportunities for Reflection and Discussion

Description

This session describes how a Facebook discussion was utilized in an Elementary Mathematics Methods course with a field component to provide an engaging way for the PSTs to share their field experiences. Analysis indicates that Facebook was a beneficial forum for sharing common experiences, connecting theory to practice, and generating reflection.
