Make It Work: Finding Time for Rigorous and Joyful Mathematics within a Prescribed Curriculum
Description
Finding time in a highly scheduled day for exploration in mathematics is difficult, but crucial. We will be presenting on how we work as a grade-level team to build in time in the day for authentic, task-based learning that complements our curriculum. We will explain our general planning structure and then share our plans for a sample "task time."
