Supporting linguistically diverse students through complex mathematical concepts can be challenging for any educator. This session will explore three "ready-to-implement" strategies that help students (1) make meaning of mathematical discourse, (2) understand why certain words and vocabulary are used in math, and (3) participate in classroom conversation.
